Are You Truly Thankful For Everything?

Thanksgiving is the season when we pause and we are grateful for all our blessings. Of course, we should be grateful for each day of the year. I would like to take a different aspect of this year of grace. I am sure you can find a list of all our many blessings and be grateful. But what is truly grateful for everything? 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says: Be always happy, never, thank you all circumstances, because it is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Are you thankful for everything in your life? East grateful for their problems, frustrations, expectations are not met, you fill the void? I think it is easy to be thankful for the good things in our lives, but not make things difficult. In the last years of my life was extremely difficult. It is not necessary to go into details. Through the difficulties that I have learned more about fidelity to God and care for me. I came to God as a young child and say, you can take care of me. I do not have the answers. When you focus on God instead of myself, I will be renewed and updated. Now, if I had asked for several years I hope that these difficulties? I would have given a big NO! Let me say now, I would not have difficulties in these difficult times, because of valuable knowledge and growth that has occurred in my relationship with God. The verse that was my strength is that you never give up or leave. Hebrews 13:5. God taught me that the only thing in this world is his love for me and his immense mercy and grace. I encourage you when you go through trials and tribulations to ask God what he has to teach you through this difficult period. I know that our first reaction is to be, Lord, get out of this difficulty, but I want to encourage you to go one step further and say: What do you show me? How can I trust you when everything is crashing around me? Now you can hear me say a Christian be convinced, saying: praise the Lord for everything that happens in their lives. God does not expect us to finish. We can provide all our frustrations and it hurts. They love and want to be our Abba? Father. Thus, this grace I want to encourage you to take a different turn to be thankful for their blessings. Try to be grateful for everything in his life, well, evil and cruelty. Learning to be content in all circumstances you are and ask God to show you what he wants you to learn about him and his almighty love for you. Remember that you have to do something to win or retain the love of God for you. They love that you, even if they do not change at all. ? 2004 Kimberly Chastain About the author Kimberly M.
