How to Have the ?Perfect? Christmas

This year will be different. I do not I have scored during this, the parties, card reader Christmas tree and put the decorations and all the many other tasks of the season. I will remember the true meaning of Christmas. Do you think that all activities related to steal your Christmas joy? For us, before the child is born - aahh the miracle of birth. The real miracle of the birth of the Savior. As Christians, we are two mothers blessed to celebrate Christmas. We know the joy and pain of childbirth. We can imagine a Mary spent searching for her true perfect, holy baby. How can we get the joy and simplicity of the first Christmas? Here are some suggestions to make this the perfect Christmas 1. Determine how you want your family to experience the true meaning of Christmas. Ex Will it help another family with gifts? Our family now has a tradition of making Christmas boxes for the Samaritan in the bag. Our children love to select themes for the box and ask the child who receives the box. 2. Prioritize what is most important to you. Maybe we can not find it. You can choose not to send Christmas cards, but a note of the New Year. 3. To determine which parts can and can not attend. Sometimes, as a family that can rarely at home in December. As a result, much time for the family. 4. If you have children, you must remember the importance, normal and usual hours of sleep is for young children and yourself. Take a child irritable shopping is not a good experience for everyone. 5. Decide which traditions you want for your own nuclear family. Sometimes we are very concerned by the extended family of origin could not start our own family traditions. Try to have an outdoor Christmas morning with children enjoy their toys before going nowhere. 6. Start a tradition of celebrating Jesus' birthday. Ex Happy birthday cake for Jesus, read the story about the Christmas before the opening, or children who have their own child-size Nativity set to play with and tells the story of Christmas. 7. Set a spending limit for Christmas and stick to it. Do not celebrate the birth of Jesus to be in debt in January. 8. Take time to pray and reflect on the most precious gift of all. Very often, our time is the first to go when we occupied. The use of an Advent calendar with children also help them focus on the true meaning of Christmas. 9. Be kind to yourself. You May not be able to do everything your mother. Maybe you can slice and bake cookies with their children at home instead of biscuit dough. Their children will remember fun to decorate cookies, which does not have the cookie dough. 10. Remember that you're not superwoman, and you can not find anything. Sit with her husband and decides who can do it on the list. Children can help put the stamps on Christmas cards. Be kind to yourself and the rest of the Saviour's love of weapons. I do not know if you and I have a Christmas, but we can make a conscious effort to focus on our Lord. Things go wrong and we have pointed out, but we must keep our eyes on him. We must demonstrate and teach our children that Christmas has nothing to do with Father Christmas and receive gifts. Christmas is on the last gift that we can never pay. Therefore, I wish you a perfect Christmas with Christ, which was born of his approach, and it would be nice to yourself. Set reasonable expectations for yourself and experience the true joy of Christmas. ? 2004 Kimberly Chastain About the author Kimberly M. We have just discovered last year the wonderful Advent Calendar tradition in our house. It really is fun to anticipate what is behind each door. This year we are getting this Christmas tree advent calendar for our two year old - the numbers are all scattered through out the tree.
